BERING 70

The Bering 70 is a ground-breaking coastal cruising yacht, with a wave piercing reverse-raked bow and a slender hull, designed to be easily driven and delivers exceptional sea-keeping and fuel economy. She can cruise for 2,500 nautical miles without refuelling.

The Bering 70 is the first model in Bering's Coastal Series. Designed from the keel up to be the ideal vessel for extensive coastal cruising, she has a shallow draft, a good turn of pace and excellent range. The hull shape and profile are equally ground-breaking, whilst retaining all of the tried and tested engineering excellence that Bering are famous for.

Vibration and engine noise are almost non-existent and her hull is stable, easily driven and highly efficient, thanks to extensive CFD modelling. Slicing through waves, rather than rising up and over them, the Bering 70 represents the most advanced application of a design principle that has been used successfully for over a century.

Her contemporary interior is beautifully crafted from a choice of premium timber, complemented by leather and the finest upholstery fabrics. The main saloon features built-in seating, a spacious dining area and a large flat screen TV and entertainment centre. At the forward end of the saloon, the galley and pilothouse flow seamlessly forward. The well equipped pilothouse is equipped with the latest electronics and affords excellent views in all directions..

Down below, the staterooms can be configured in any number of ways, depending on how you would like to optimise the living space. Two and three cabin configurations are possible, along with the option for a crew cabin aft. One of the advantages of a steel construction is the flexibility it allows us to work with customers to create exactly the accommodation they need. Everything in the yacht, from engineering to soft furnishings can be customised to customer requirements.

Outside, the Bering 70 offers full walk-around access and numerous spaces for relaxing, sunbathing and dining. The rear of the top deck provides ample space for a tender, with a powerful hydraulic crane for launching and recovering it.
