The Bering 55 is a capable and rugged long range passage-maker. A range of over 3000 miles, a luxurious interior and every modern convenience make her the perfect home from home for an adventurous couple. Several layouts and numerous options are available.

The Bering 55 presents a traditional profile, although "Nomad" updates (from the B65 Nomad) could be incorporated, for a more contemporary look. Internally, her fit-out can be either traditional or modern, depending on customer preference, incorporating exotic woods, natural stone and luxurious fabrics throughout. Like all Bering models, she is first and foremost an incredibly safe and capable long range cruising vessel; her transoceanic range opening up a world of possibilities to the adventurous yachtsman.

Vibration and engine noise are almost non-existent and her hull is stable, easily driven and highly efficient, thanks to extensive CFD modelling. Many builders of yachts this size use "recreational" grade components to save cost, however, every Bering is built with the highest quality commercial grade equipment, ensuring the most trouble-free experience possible while cruising.

Bering yachts are unashamedly heavy, giving a particularly sea-kindly motion that very few, if any, recreational motor yachts are capable of delivering, at least without active stabilisation. The design provides a very low centre of gravity which, along with the sheer mass of the vessel, reduces roll, pitch and pounding. A full load displacement of 64 tons puts the Bering 55 well above her competitors!

The main deck enjoys full walk around access, giving maximum convenience for short-handed berthing manoeuvres. Inside, the main saloon has a corner settee and table to starboard, with built-in barrel chairs to port. There is a pop-up flat screen TV and large, but immensely strong, windows to maximise the views and natural light. The galley is located a few steps up, conveniently between the saloon and pilothouse.

The master stateroom is typically located forward on the lower deck, but several layout options are available and the Bering designers are always happy to work with owners to re-arrange and refine the accommodation, to create the perfect solution for their needs. Additionally, the lower deck offers two en suite guest cabins and behind the guest accommodation is the engine room, which is carefully laid out for ease of maintenance and lined with acoustic panelling and heavy bulkhead insulation.

Outside, the Bering 55 offers numerous spaces for relaxing, sunbathing and dining; whether you choose the covered aft cockpit, the built-in seating forward of the Portugese bridge, or the spacious flybridge. The rear of the top deck provides ample space for one or more tenders, with a powerful hydraulic crane for launching and recovery.
