BERING 105

The Bering 105 is the largest of the ground-breaking Coastal Series, with a wave piercing reverse-raked bow and a slender hull. She can cruise for 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots, with a top speed of 14 knots, from her twin Cummins 400hp engines.

Designed for wave-piercing performance and smooth, fuel efficient passage making, the Bering 105 is the flagship of the Coastal Series. The streamlined hull shape cuts through the water and is less affected by oncoming waves than a bow with more flare. Also less susceptible to slamming, her deep forefoot doesn't rise above water level, as she cleaves through the waves.

Large unobstructed windows on the main deck give an abundance of natural light, which complements the clean lines of the minimalist interior, which boasts accommodation for up to eight guests and four crew in six cabins. The crew area is forward and is comprised of two en suite cabins, plus a crew mess and laundry room.

Her contemporary interior is beautifully crafted from a choice of premium timber, complemented by leather and the finest upholstery fabrics. The main saloon features built-in seating, a spacious dining area and a large flat screen TV and entertainment centre. At the forward end of the saloon, the galley and pilothouse flow seamlessly forward. The well equipped pilothouse is equipped with the latest electronics and affords excellent views in all directions.

Down below, the staterooms can be configured to suit the customer, depending on whether the emphasis is on maximising guest numbers, or on having larger staterooms for fewer guests.

Outside, the Bering 105 offers a large and private flybridge, with ample space for a bar and grill, a spacious covered seating area in the aft cockpit and large sunpads on the foredeck. Tender storage is on the top deck, with a powerful hydraulic crane for launch and recovery, along with space for jetskis or other watersports equipment.

Underway, the semi-displacement hull offers comfortable cruising with a good turn of pace. The elegant, slender hull slices through waves and provides a very stable ride. A full fuel load will take you over 3,500 miles at 10 knots, making her a very economical passagemaker for the serious cruiser.
